WELLS, Sharron Marie (nee Whiting): Passed away peacefully, Saturday 29th August, at Nurse Maude Hospice, aged 51 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Mark, much loved Mum of Dylan, loved daughter of the late Ron and Jeanette, loved sister and sister-in-law of John, Michael and Kylie, Carolyn and Paul, and Kaye and Symon, adored aunty of all her nieces and nephews, and best mate to Jess. A special thank you to all who cared for Sharron especially Nurse Maude Hospice and Christchurch Hospital Oncology Department. PENEI, Deborah Anne (Deb) (Née Shirkey)

Deb passed away peacefully on August 20, 2026, at Christchurch Hospital, aged 67 years. Much loved partner of Henry, dearly loved mum of Joe and Ana, Tino, Ana and Harman, proud nan of Tasi, Reta, and their partners, Lincoln, Mila, Kai, Beau, Jade, and Cora, great-nan of Vianni, beloved daughter of Julie and Noel, and adored sister and best friend of Kaye and Kevin, fondly remembered by Sao, Jaime, Victoria and Harrison, and Olivia. Deb was a very special, fun and loving friend to many, especially to her 'ladies'. She passed away much too young after a brave battle with cancer and her family were fortunate to be by her side throughout her final days. She fought with an incredible dignity right until the end and is now finally at peace. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. ROUSE, Graham Joseph Passed away peacefully, on August 15, 2026, surrounded by his family at Nurse Maude Hospice after a brave battle, in his 80th year. Cherished husband and best friend of Rosina for 57 years, loving and inspirational father to Nic, Heidi and Daniel (McCausland), and adored Pop to George and Kate, loved eldest brother to Marlene, Trevor and Heather, dearly loved son of Lillian and John Rouse (dec), brother-in-law, uncle, and friend to many. Graham will be remembered for his gentle, humble nature, generosity, love and kindness. Raised in the high country, he had a sense of adventure, and an ability to relate to people from all walks of life. Our heartfelt thanks go to our family and friends (you know who you are), for your incredible support and love. We are humbled by the support and compassionate care given by the teams at Christchurch Hospital, Nurse Maude Hospice and Dr Shiromani Goyal. Graham will be deeply missed. His love, laughter and many wonderful memories will remain with us always. In accordance with Graham's wishes a private cremation has been held. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date - bring on the stories!

Now reunited with her beloved husband Len and cherished daughter Yvonne. Doreen will be fondly remembered by her daughter Jennifer Mote, her grandchildren Paul, Rebekah and Michael Wright, Angela, and Laurence Mote, along with spouses Neville, John, Viv, Jon, Sarah, and Kelly, great grandchildren Ellesse, Harakeke, Eddie, Pearce, Luke, Olivia, Hamish, George, Annabel, Lucy and the three Canadian boys who recently became part of her family Colin, Kyle, and Kaden, were all special to her.
