SYME, Ronald David (Ron):  Passed away on November 7, 2023, in his 89th year.  Much loved husband of the late Janet, “the centre of each other’s life”.  A proud father and father-in-law of Isobel, Brenda and Jason, and David and Stan.  A very special grandfather of Connie, and grandparent to Dion and Regan, and a much loved great-grandad Ron of Leighton, and Zen.  Messages may be addressed to The family of the late Ron Syme, c/- P O Box 39127, Christchurch 8545.  A small private family celebration of Ron’s life was held in our chapel on Friday, November 10th, 2023.
