ROONEY, Kathryn May (née Browne) (formerly of Hororata): On Tuesday, December 20, 2022, peacefully at Westmar Senior Care Centre, Darfield, aged 80 years. Strong and devoted wife of the late Derrick for 55 years, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Sean and Tonya, and Kerry and Paul. Special Nana of Liam, and Erin; Ben, Samantha, and Annabel. Sister and sister-in-law of Michael and Mary, treasured aunt to her nieces Jacqui, Amanda, Maria, and Johanna and a good friend to Kate and Ann. Special thanks to the staff at Westmar. A Memorial Service to be held at a later date, with details to be advised.
