ROUSE, Graham Joseph 

Passed away peacefully, on August 15, 2026, surrounded by his family at Nurse Maude Hospice after a brave battle, in his 80th year. Cherished husband and best friend of Rosina for 57 years, loving and inspirational father to Nic, Heidi and Daniel (McCausland), and adored Pop to George and Kate, loved eldest brother to Marlene, Trevor and Heather, dearly loved son of Lillian and John Rouse (dec), brother-in-law, uncle, and friend to many. Graham will be remembered for his gentle, humble nature, generosity, love and kindness. Raised in the high country, he had a sense of adventure, and an ability to relate to people from all walks of life. Our heartfelt thanks go to our family and friends (you know who you are), for your incredible support and love. We are humbled by the support and compassionate care given by the teams at Christchurch Hospital, Nurse Maude Hospice and Dr Shiromani Goyal. Graham will be deeply missed. His love, laughter and many wonderful memories will remain with us always. In accordance with Graham’s wishes a private cremation has been held. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date – bring on the stories!
