PAWSEY, Alysoun Juanita (nee Gray): With sad hearts we share the news Alysoun passed away peacefully after a short illness at The Village Palms on March 30, 2024, age 76 years. Devoted mother of Stephen, and Gregory, mother-in-law of Fiona, and Mhai, much loved nanny to Alexandra, James, and Leroy, loved daughter of the late Hector and Joan Gray, caring sister of Lynette Barnfield, and the late Stephanie, and Shirley, will be dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews, and Alysoun’s Swiss Japanese daughter Miyuki, and her knitting group. Special thanks to the staff at The Village Palms for the kindness shown to Alysoun. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated,  and may be made to the Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.nz. The Service to celebrate Alysoun’s life will be held in The Avonpark Chapel, Corner Kerrs and Pages Roads, Linwood, Christchurch, on Friday April 5, at 10.30am, private cremation thereafter.
