Additional Services
- Additional Hygienic services – Full or partial embalming may often enhance the viewing experience, or be necessary for preservation. Both options are available if required and can be discussed with your funeral director.

If you would like a celebrant to talk on your behalf and have the opportunity to catch up with guests following a service, A Gathering would be a better option.
A Gathering

- With dignity, we will transfer your loved one into our care
- Visit you at home or you are welcome to visit us at one of our Chapels to arrange and plan the funeral
- Fundamental Hygienic services including partial embalming
- Provide a maple style casket, complete with upholstered lining, handles, nameplate and religious memorabilia if requested
- Prepare and lodge all necessary documentation
- Complete death registration details and provide one death certificate
- Take care of cremation and all required fees (Arrangment of burial – extra charges apply)
- Arrange a private viewing in one of our Chapels
- Provide 24 hour advice and support
- Compile and place a funeral or death notice in the newspaper
- Arrange a single venue service in our Christchurch Crematorium Chapel or AvonPark Chapel. Funeral services can be held Monday to Friday at either 10.00am or 2.00pm.
- Arrange and print 50 professional service sheets for the service
- Arrange a celebrant or clergy to officiate the ceremony
