Optional Extras if they feel right for you
If you’d like to add any extras, you can. There’s never any pressure, and a clear, transparent price.
Caskets
If you’d like to upgrade your casket from the standard size simple cremation casket, you can choose from a range of options—whether that’s something more traditional, an eco-friendly sustainably grown timber, or a natural option like a New Zealand wool blend.

Urns and Scatter Urns
Which urn you choose comes down to what feels right for you—if you’d like to keep your loved one close at home or in a special place, an urn can feel really comforting, while a scatter urn can help you gently let them go somewhere meaningful.
You can also think about how you want to remember them—whether it feels right for you to have something you can visit or hold onto, or if it brings you more peace to return them to nature-and it’s okay to take your time and choose what feels best when you’re ready.

Keepsakes
Keepsakes are mementos you can keep to feel close to your loved one—they could hold ashes, a lock of hair, or a photo, so you can carry their memory with you in a gentle, comforting way.
You can choose keepsakes that feel special to you—whether it’s jewellery you can wear, a wooden heart you can hold onto, or a metallic rose you can keep as a reminder of your loved one, or something you can share with family.

Fingerprint Memories
Your loved one is truly one of a kind, just like their fingerprint and Fingerprint Memories turn that uniqueness into something you can hold close. You can choose a hand-crafted piece of jewellery made from their fingerprint, capturing the swirls and shape that are uniquely theirs.
Each silver pendant is created from your loved one’s touch, or from an image of their fingerprint, and becomes a deeply personal keepsake you can wear every day. With different shapes to choose from and a softly textured finish, it gives you something tangible and comforting to remember them by.

Newspaper Notices
Our team can support you to write an obituary to share online or in the newspaper, helping you let others know of your loved one’s passing. You can include their name, important dates, and a few heartfelt words about their life, as well as service information if you’d like others to join you in remembering them.
Remembering with Flowers
Flowers can add warmth, colour and a personal touch to a farewell. Whether you choose a simple bouquet or a casket spray, they can help reflect the life and personality of the person being remembered.
We can help you choose from a wide range of natural flower bunches and casket sprays to suit your wishes and budget. Simple or elaborate, the choice is always yours.
Livestreaming
Livestreaming is a simple way for family and friends to be part of a farewell when they can’t attend in person.
If you’re not familiar with the technology, think of it like a private TV broadcast over the internet. The service is filmed and securely shared so invited family and friends can watch from home, or anywhere else in New Zealand or around the world.
Only people who receive the private viewing link can watch. They can join live as the service takes place or watch the recording later.
The recording remains available online for 400 days, allowing family and friends to revisit the service, share it with loved ones who were unable to watch live, or reflect on it in their own time. An extension can also be arranged if needed.
Our venues are fully equipped for livestreaming, and our team will organise everything for you. The cost is $250.
Photo Tribute
A photo tribute is a simple and meaningful way to share memories and celebrate a life. Using up to 70 photos and set to two songs, it can reflect the people, places and moments that were important to them.
Shown during the farewell, it gives family and friends an opportunity to pause, reflect and remember together. It’s a personal way to tell their story and celebrate a life in a way that feels genuine and true to them.
To help us create your photo tribute:
Choose up to 70 photos (approximately a 6-8 minute photo tribute).
Let us know if you would like the photos shown in chronological or random order. If choosing chronological order, please ensure the photos are supplied in the order you would like them shown.
If it’s important to you, select a first photo and last photo for the tribute.
Include photos from different stages of their life, highlighting special people, memories and milestones.
Where possible, provide original printed and digital images. We don’t recommend taking a photo of a printed photograph, as this can reduce image quality.
Other Catering
Sharing refreshments after a farewell gives family and friends time to come together, connect and support one another. It’s an opportunity to share memories, catch up with those who have travelled to be there, and spend a little more time together.
Our standard refreshments are suitable for many gatherings, and you can choose to add extra refreshments for larger groups or explore other catering options. Whatever you choose, we’ll help create a welcoming space where everyone feels included and cared for.
Preplanning your funeral
